The Stoke Barehills Town Band is a studio project based in Basingstoke, UK led by pianist Dan Leese. Heard The Word is a sonic evocation to the lost intangible innocence of a traditional English life that may or may not have ever existed and one day still might do, or not. Drenched with memories, sunshine chords and golden harmonies. Musical influences include The Zombies, mid-to-late 60s Beach Boys and Beatles.
